This story is a lot of things, and slow paced is not one of them, while the story is...... interesting, it also lacks in a few areas. The story is decently fast paced and sometimes the way things are worded makes it hard to keep track of what's going on. things happen way too fast in my opinion. Also the chapters are pretty long, which is great. in conclusion this story has a lot of potential, give it a shot. Just don't expect it to be......... perfect

The writing isn't better than bl3, maybe slightly. I have been going through the chapters multiple times, it's a very very difficult book to follow with a very clear lack of structure. With writing there needs to be a certain flow but here the conversations and actions appear very disjointed. There is no drama or tension and release, only description which is sadly also bland. The tone is also all over the place, and especially the characters feel very shallow. I couldn't remember any interesting details about them with a gun to my head. If I had to give an example about tone, it goes from cliche conversations to murder hobo in like mili seconds. There is that lack of tension. I think the author is trying to replicate the wacky energy of borderland, but sadly it's not that easy to do in written format. I would advise to read some shakespeare comedies with similar silly wacky energy (and they are the most confusing books to follow). Overall I hope you don't take this personally, it's just something I noticed and decided to voice to help your writing journey. Pacing, Tone, Structure, Characters, Tension, Atmosphere. Things you can work from the top of my head.

I love almost everything about this book, it’s writing is well thought out and occasionally uses words that I didn’t think existed before reading this . It’s story telling is amazing, one of if not the best I’ve seen/read so far, they draw a picture for any seen in their story be it big or small and uses 200 words instead of 20 (exaggeration) to explain the seen. Every character is unique be it an oc or an existing character, they all feel that they belong there and not forced to fit the plot. My only complaint is that new chapters aren’t coming fast enough, but you can’t rush quality writing .

shame story ended with just Bo2. it left us with 2-1. 2 good volumes and 1 bad (i dont like presequel, be it the game or this volume) bo3 could have served as a score breaker for a potential 3-1. but i get author was feeling burnt out. long chapters with lots of information to process, especially for anyone who doesnt know the full stories. would have loved to his Alexs reaction to the Calypso twins. on the other hand, i could have done without all the repetitive paragraphs in both Volume 2 and in general. feels like you wrote a bit but then later went back to rewrite it to better flesh out the character but didnt take out the first attempt. other than that its a good lengthy read that had alot of potential

Writing quality is ok, as in it’s legible, but not amazing. Pov shifts come in unannounced. Then the author starts using ai to write big chunks of the chapter and quality takes a nosedive since ai is just word vomit that pumps word count without any real substance. Story is fast paced and covers bl1, pre-sequel, and bl2. It kinda jumps all over the place but it’s fine. Characters are pretty shallow. Mc is very strange as in he just automatically goes for conquest as his goal without showing how he arrives to that conclusion. Like, as soon as he’s placed in the world he’s like “gotta conquer the universe”. As far as dialogue goes it’s 50/50. Sometimes it’s good, other times it doesn’t match the characters when author uses ai to fill in the blanks. World background skims over most things to get straight into the action and plot. Overall, it’s like a 3/5. Wouldn’t read this unless I have nothing else to really read. If author didn’t use ai i’d rate 3.5/5

So, I have only played borderlands 2 so I wanted to ask if I can still enjoy it like you do explain the mechanics and characters right? Also although there is a non harem tag then will there still be romance also if there is then I shall nominate Lilith as the best wifu. So I hope he does the side quest where we destroy Lilith's cult!!!
