He smiled mysteriously at Mr. Fernando, and Mr. Fernando nodded before standing up from the sofa and taking a slight respectful bow. "I'd like to take my leave now." He smiled awkwardly and immediately turned to leave, but Mr. Adolpho's personal guard abruptly moved over and block him from stepping forward.

His brows furrowed and he turned to stare at Mr. Adolpho, who had a grin on his face. "Let him go, Rufus." Mr. Adolpho chuckled softly, and the personal guard, whose name was Rufus, stepped out of the way.
