บท 154: Help Offered

Mr. Adolpho stared intently at Rita, waiting for her to speak, but she uttered not a single word. She just sat there, gazing at him with tearful eyes.

"Why do you care?" She asked and his eyes quivered as he too didn't understand why he cared. His brow creased a bit, and he took a low breath. "Pretty, I don't even know why I care, but for the fact that I'm sitting here in front of you, then fate just wanted us to meet." He smiled charmingly at her, and Rita's lashes blinked furiously.

She sniffed, and a low breath escaped her nose. She was about to turn when someone slammed his hand on the table and she and Mr. Adolpho couldn't help but look up, only to see a young man clad in a black hoodie and black pants. His gaze was specifically fixed on Rita.

Rita's eyes trembled in fear at the sight of this person, who was obviously Alex, and her body began to shudder uncontrollably.
