บท 8: The Counter Force
"What the hell just happen."
I pondered this to myself as I began to check my basic introduction to see where my health was.

And just as I thought I had been miraculously healed I even went into my stats to see where my mana level was at and judging by the settings, I place it on.
Which shows my level in percentage instead of numeric values for better way to determine how much mana has been used and judging by my mana stats it was back to it perfect 100%, because earlier when I spent doubled the original cost to permanently replicated the raincoats and sugary sweets for Felt it was at a drastic 45% leaving me with less than half of mana pool depleted
And because I drained the world mana from its atmosphere to bring fort Tyche from her seal, it was impossible to even absorb mana after the deed was done.
"Truly whatever the hell caused that divine miracle to occur is truly monstrous, it was both amazing and amusing to watch it crash on my party, but yet it was still more intriguing than everything I have seen so far, aghh... now I really want to know what caused such a spectacular pneumonia to occur."
"How could I not want to know; my curiosity alone is killing me "sigh" this is a very uncomfortable feeling, so much so, I feel as if I'm going to die of suspense if I don't find out the reason of such spectacular Ness."
And as I was thinking about the event that occurred earlier and the curiosity it left me with a sudden interface came before me.

Due to the player desire to learn of the miracle that occurred earlier a special mission has been created by Tyche herself as she is willing to bend the rules a bit, but in order for that to work it all depends on your choice, so pick you reward wisely and by picking the reward mean that you accept the mission.

[B]. The truth of the miracle and why it occurred
[C]. Indepth information about the counter force
When I saw this, I was shocked because I honestly thought that I wouldn't have any right to decide when I had to take a mission.
I thought I was only going to receive "rights" as my reward and nothing else, but yet here this sudden mission came before me with an opportunity to find out the truth.
But as I was thinking this something else began to type itself below the choices which took me by surprise.
[1 minute to choose]
[And if you don't choose then you won't have the same opportunity again]
At this time, I didn't waste any time to even think of what I was going to choose.
I instantly picked the last option for several reasons, honestly Tyche took me for someone that can be fooled easily.
And as if to prove my statement from earlier another screen came up as it said.
[Are you sure you want that as your reward yes/no]
I spoke to the screen and said with a smirk on my face as to mock it futile attempt to make me change my mind, hell Tyche is my power in every sense of the word or a physical manifestation of my greatest desire taking form to assist me.
But yet it behaves in a way that I can't even decide what I want, despite her having some authority over boundaries, the power of the gate of Tyche works in a way that depends on luck that what the ability synopsis said.
If that was the case what was the need for any form of sentients or self-awareness at all and that when it hit me, a puzzle that was bothering me from ever since I awoke to this double edge sword of a failed Gacha ability.
For instance, when I awoke, I felt an extreme feeling of depravity as if something important was taken from me, something so important to me it was worth dying for, but I subconsciously knew I would never get it back no matter what I do.
Second of all why can't I remember what transpired within that hour of unconsciousness, but yet I instantly know the name of my gate when I didn't have the slightest clue of what it was even call in the first place, that is until, the very moment I awoken with foreign knowledge I didn't have prior to events that led up to it, regardless of the book of truth assistance as the whole way it played out was way too suspicious.
But thankfully with my sudden increase in knowledge or more like my divine protection, it practically made me a living super computer from the future as observing and learning became a thing in the past for me.
After all, what might take you many years to learn only takes me about a couple seconds to master and it doesn't stop there as with my limitless potential influencing everything such as powers, self of being, my state of mine, skills, etc.
I will never stop growing because even as I age my power grows with me and let's not forget that there might even be a chance that the skill limitless potential just might influence its own state of existence creating something more atrocious in the process of growing, but then and again that last statement is just a personal theory of mines, that I just came up with on the spot.
Although the down side to my divine protection is that with each passing second, I grow smarter due to constantly analyzing my surroundings which make have a different perspective on the world as a whole.
It's kind of scary, in a way my protection is still seal to a great degree, but yet I'm getting unbelievable results just from it weaken power imaging when its fully releases, but the other downfall to this useful and monstrous ability is the fact it makes me hunger for more knowledge upon gaining recent ones, that's why I'm always analyzing, documenting and theorizing.
So, despite all that, why should I not pick the third option, anyone with some intellect including many years of in game experience of many scenarios and situation, could instantly tell this was a trick question.
"Two right to a role wasn't really worth it, knowing the truth of the miracle and why it occurred could just be who did it and why, so the last option knowing Indepth information about the counter force is the way to go for three reasons
[1]. The event that played out in the world did seem to find a way to counter my disaster manipulation matching up with the topic at hand.
[2]. Why did you even give me the opportunity to choose my own reward
[3]. And the most obvious reason why, because anyone could see the term counter force was important, why even mention it, if it wasn't important in the first place.
"So, with all that said I can't trust you because for all I know your manipulating what I'm seeing from the interface for all I know."
"Truly your evil, more so than me, but I am not a fool I will have you know my thought process is built kinda different, so tricking me is a waste of time."
"So yes, option [C]."
And right after I confirm it another set of notification pop up as it showed me the following.

. Save Felt from her demised and establish a dominant position in the campaign.

When I look at this it intrigues me, not because of making a dominant position in the story; why should I if I'm already fucking game from the moment it started, but my interest lies more on the two individuals that wholes the grand classes, what does it mean!?
Was it some type of unique title that only a selective few can have, or was it something akin to individual of this world that lies at the top of the food chain?
Truly this amaze and amuses me.
Hell, I was already making a chapter in the book of truth I personally titled as "Secrets of the Counter force chapter I."
Hell, I already made several theories on what I think it was.
Theories such as.
"The world self-defense mechanism against Catastrophes."
"A phenomenon that corrects anomalies or unplanned events in order to regain balance."
"The physical manifestation of the world will survive."
"A mysterious force that corrects incorrections."
As you could see I had many theories, all of them perfectly documented with great details within the book of truth, but after finishing my brief studies on the subjected I retracted myself from writing any further information that comes to mines or I will definitely be loss in the moment.
From there I placed back the book of truth inside my cloak which was followed by some stretches as I was preparing to leave this place and go to another.
I then open up my mini map to see where I was going and judging by the nature of this mission, it was painfully clear I wasn't going to get the exact location of the grands, so the best course of action would be to go Felt and ask her some question regarding that light.
"I'm sure that light was caused by someone of the grand class, because no ordinary person can do a feat like that."
And right after I said that I proceed to try and locate Felt, thankfully this was one of the key Feature of my divine protection of "the eyes of the player."
And when I open my mini-map even further it shows the entire layout of the kingdom and the location of all the people I have seen so far from since I came here since a lot of blue lights are present.
I then proceeded to locate Felt and she was easy to find.
And just like I thought she was in a grey out area meaning that I hadn't step foot in that area as yet, but I proceed to click her crown icon as it shone gold.
And then A bright light started to shine once more I instantly turn around as I said Panick.
"What!? why the hell are you trying to attack us with that attack that destroys and restores life again mysterious en...
But before I could finish saying what I wanted, I was left shocked to see that I was very much mistaken.
Because what I originally thought was another attack from another grand was a golden beacon of light coming from the south East and that's when it hit me causing me to shout in absolute shock.
"Is that a fucking marker!?"
And just when I was thinking if my thoughts were true, I saw a plus icon pop up beside it and by instinct, I instantly knew what this was as I spoke.
"It would appear I can appraise this how interesting, how exciting, how amazing, amusing."
I then clicked the plus Icon as a synopsis came before me explaining the light in detail.

--Marker of the unfond--
. Marker of the unfond is one of the sub-powers of "the eyes of the player" it allows you to find and locate absolutely anyone you have seen at least once no matter where they are hiding, as it will locate anyone by showing them a pillar of invisible light that only the player or his party can see, but you have to perceive and recognize the land, they are on at least once in order for it to work, in short if they are in another world then you can't find them.

I was taken by surprise by this; the eyes of the player had successfully surprised me yet again.
"Hahaha... how amusing, if this isn't evident enough to prove that the world was my personal jester then I don't know what it was."
"Truly this world is nothing but a game indeed."
But right after I said that, I pull out the book of truth once more and proceed to document and sketch this amusing display of my power.
And after I finished documenting my work, I placed it back into the same spot as usual.
I walked out of the alley and began walking to the golden light.
And of course, on my way I found a few interesting things as well, but the research that I have gathered so far was mostly about the biology of the different races I have seen while walking towards Felt
And with the help of X-ray vision, I could see their interiors and unorthodox organs in all its glory, and men oh men I'm totally considering on making a chimera palm if can harvest the different body parts of these interesting specimens for further and physical research.
And what made it even more fun and amazing to watch and study was the fact that I can appraise the organs with ease, getting some rather important and useful information in the process of it all.
But as I was studying while walking, I bump into someone which caused the person to crash towards the ground, honestly speaking I was Fine.
"Ahh... so sorry, are you alright."
I look in front of me to see a beautiful girl with silver hair, amethyst-blue eyes, and pointed ears, she wears a white and purple outfit along with a white flower in her hair, her height was no more than 5'3.
I then looked at her as I said.
"Oh, sorry I guess I wasn't watching where I was go...
But before I could even say what I wanted to say I was taken by surprise.
"What's the matter."
And as if the girl realized what was happening in her own little world, she began to hide her face on impulse, thinking that it was a problem.
But in reality, my shock was because of something else and that something was her basic introduction as it said.

In my shock I could only say.
"No way it couldn't be this easy right."
