Aaron's golden eyes glinted under the light. They exuded the sweetest promises that were hard to resist and Liam was not resolute enough to be wise and say 'no' to what the devil had offered to him. "What more do you need? Isn't that what you want? To make this pack to be the most powerful in this whole realm?"

Liam held his daughter closer to him, while staring at Aaron in disbelief. He didn't want to agree with him, but he knew he was left with no other choice. His greediness would become the death of him one day…

And the worst part of this was that Aaron could see it clearly in his eyes. He knew what a person's deepest and darkest desires were and he offered exactly what they wanted, not what they needed, to benefit himself.
