As if he had been planning this day for some time, he flicked his wrist, and over forty red candles appeared in staggered positions around the room. 

With another snap, every candle ignited with BlackFire, giving the room a romantic yet eerie feeling, one that was much appreciated by Selene, who looked around the small stone cottage in wonder. 

Eventually tearing her eyes away from the multiple candles, Selene looked over at Cynrik, lying beside her with a lavender glow on his arms from his [Húðflúr].

Reaching over, she traced her fingers along the intricate knotwork inscriptions with misty eyes. Never in a million years would she have thought that Cynrik could make such a gesture, and she had already resigned herself to losing her first time in a rough yet passionate flurry.
