He reached for his mobile and began to scroll through the names he had captured in his screenshots.

Leandre's eyes scanned the list of women's names, trying to match them with the nine girls' mothers, but none of them matched. Lost in thought, he was abruptly interrupted by the shrill ring of his personal mobile phone. "Who could possibly be calling at this hour?" Hastily, he reached for it from the drawer, but before he could answer, the call ended abruptly, leaving him with nothing but the silence of his own thoughts.
