Delilah felt doubt in her heart. Can James just let her go quickly? It seemed like everything he said was like something too beautiful to believe. Thus, Delilah innocently tried to think of James as his kind act recently.

"Why did you let me go?" asked Delilah in her soothing, gentle tone. James smiled, then stroked Delilah's hair to see deeply in her eyes.

"I'm not letting you go. I'm only giving you a chance to get the money to pay your debt. That's all," James replied in a gentle tone. Delilah was stunned at her place to see him.

"But remember you have to stay close to me. You must stay with me at my house." James added firmly.

"Are you afraid that I will run and not pay?" Delilah asked innocently. James suppressed a smile and nodded, although it wasn't the truth.
