บท 465: When Are You Going To Love Him Back?

Delia Draycott was friendly enough but used to spending time solely with adults who thought she was precocious so she had never been the best at keeping friends. Until she met Simon Yarrow, that is. 

She had a falling out with her old middle school friends over the summer so she had been dreading going to high school without a friend group. He appeared like a miracle at the bus stop in her neighborhood mostly full of old people or young kids wearing Supersonic buttons and ended up being in all of her classes. 

It felt like it was meant to be. He was funny, super smart, had tons of interesting things to say, and loved web comics. They talked about them for hours at a time without getting bored. 

Delia considered herself extremely lucky to have him as a friend but couldn't deny that she sometimes wondered if he wanted something more. Everyone at school seemed to think he was her boyfriend already because he kind of acted like it.
