Jasper had brought over all the gifts he bought Bree back in L.A. so she had the comics from that box that she didn't already own and had lent some of them to him so he had something to do when she was reading. She was glad he seemed to be liking them.

The other part of what he said hit her a moment later. "What do you do for work these days?"

"I bought some businesses. Mostly they run themselves but I end up checking a lot of emails and such while you're at work from my managers."

This was the first Bree was hearing of it. "What kind of businesses?"

"I bought a mall so everything that fits inside it is technically mine too," Jasper said with a shrug. "We should go sometime. You can get whatever you want from that store you like on me. Hot Pocket, right?"

"…Hot Topic."

"Oh, right. Hot pockets are food."
