บท 22: This One Might Be Different

Molly secretly hoped Evan would ask for her number or something because she was too chicken. She was trying to make herself do it before they parted ways but couldn't get the words out no matter how hard she tried.

It had been over an hour and they reached the end of the botanical garden. She was crushed with disappointment that this would be where they said goodbye and she still hadn't gotten the words out. She finally met someone decent that she would like to spend more time with and it was as if her mouth was glued shut!

"Do you want to go get some ice cream or something? Sorry if that's too weird but I don't want to stop talking to you yet," he confessed with an adorable little smile that made her heart skip a beat.

"Yes!" she burst out. "I mean yeah. That would be cool."

"Awesome. My treat, I insist. Do you want to meet up at the gelato store downtown?"

"The one next to the antique shop?"
