"You don't look good," Victor pointed out as he stepped into the office with two cups in hand.
He gave the darkly roasted coffee to Marcel who accepted it with a word of thanks while he sipped his matcha latte. Unlike Marcel, Victor had a sweet tooth and loved the strong natural sweetness compared to his cousin's bitter drink. Blah! How does he even enjoy that?
"Did you even sleep last night?" He inquired, focused on his tea.
"No,"
"Ah, you must have been up all night, thinking." Victor thought.
"Arianna slept in my room,"
"Oh." He understood at once.
It made sense to Victor. Why would Marcel stay awake for a little problem like Clara's? All he needed to do was to sleep and get a clear head enough to think of a solution.
But then, when you have a temptress on your bed, it's incredibly hard to sleep. It's like being in the garden of Eden, watching the attractive forbidden fruit and being told not to eat it.
