***ADDIE'S POV***

Surprisingly, and thankfully, the rest of the term passed calmly. There were no interruptions, and I was able to study, teach, and learn in peace. I spent time with my friends, and enjoyed my life as much as I possibly could. I once again stayed at the Academy through the break, so I could learn even more before the year was over. 

I felt as if my understanding of white and black magic were deepening. And if I needed to, I would be able to rely more and more on the abilities I had, rather than just perform a miracle and hope for the best. Faith in myself was important.
