บท 739: Chapter 239- Addie – Preparing for the Final Ball at the Academy (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I couldn't believe that this school year was already almost half over. It was passing in such a blur with how busy I was. And now, somehow, it was almost time for the Mid Season Ball once again. I knew that there were several people who had been looking forward to this event, as they always did, but I was feeling a little indifferent about it this time, and I wasn't really sure what had caused that apathy in me.

I was still smiling, putting on a happy face, and all that while I talked to my friends about what was going to happen. They had their lovely dresses for the evening, and so did I. Of course, Vanya wouldn't send me to the Academy without a dress for the ball. What sort of seamstress aunt would she be if she did that?

Oh, that brought a smile to my face. Thinking of how Vanya was now married to Uncle Isaiah, and even though it wasn't by blood, she was family now. And family meant the world to me.
