**ADDIE'S POV**

Before I knew it, my study time over the break had come to an end. It was time for everyone else to return and classes to get started again. Things were going to get busy again, especially considering that Heron was bringing someone in to start teaching me about my white magic.

I had learned some from Nolan, since he had that type of mana as well, but he wasn't an expert in that field. According to Heron, we were both highly lacking in that particular mana field. It was for this reason that I sought out Nolan right away, wanting to talk to him about this very topic.

"Hello there, Professor Addie." I heard a voice behind me. It was one that seemed lonely, and of course it was extremely familiar.

"Well hello there, Professor Nolan." I grinned when I turned to face him. "How was your break?"

"slightly lacking." He sighed a little. "And how was yours? Full of learning and insight, I hope."
