**ADDIE'S POV**

The sense of being followed wasn't going away at all. I still sensed that person there. I never saw who it was, not even now that it had been a few days. I didn't know if they were a man, a woman, or even some sort of beast that wasn't a person at all.

Whoever, or whatever it was, they weren't giving up. But neither was I, not by a long shot. I would stay strong, not be afraid, and I would keep on as I have been until I knew what was happening once and for all. I would never surrender.

The night of the ball finally came. I got ready in my dorm that was located in the student building. Since I was attending the ball as a student as well as a professor, I thought that it would be more appropriate this way. And then I would be able to just walk over with all of my friends.
