**ADDIE'S POV**

Well, I was at the Academy a week before the other professors, and two weeks before the other students. That meant that I had time to get at least a basic lesson plan taken care of. Also, the headmaster authorized me to take the test for the runes class during this time, under his supervision.

Taking that exam now, would allow me more time later and wouldn't really delay me when the term officially started. I passed, of course. I mean, I had been learning from Nolan directly, and he was the foremost authority on the topic in almost the entire world. At least on the continent.

During the week before the other professors arrived, I worked hard with Kenna to prepare a start of the year plan. I wanted to make sure that she and I were on the same page. I also demonstrated to her that I knew what I was talking about when it came to the topic.
