**ADDIE'S POV**

"Nolan?" I whispered his name without looking at him. I didn't want the whole school to know that we were talking right now.

"Yes?" There was a hint of laughter in his voice, even if he wasn't smiling. He was keeping his face even, just so that he didn't appear to be talking, just like I was doing.

"Why are you with us up here, and Professor Viceman with the vampires, but no other professors are sitting with their royals? What is going on?"

"Well, that's simple. No one else is a royal by birth or marriage." He was looking out over the students and staff that were still watching the raised dais.

"Professor Viceman is a royal?" I didn't look at her, but I made note of what had happened.

"Yes, but we will talk about that later." He said as he turned to face the headmaster. "The speech is starting."
