**ADDIE'S POV**

The time that I spent at home with the others seemed to pass in a blur. I went shopping with Juliana. I had a private lunch with Callum where he told me all about his worries as my big brother. There was another date with Nolan, where we talked about the things that were off limits at the Academy. And I visited some more with my family. It was all quite amazing, and it was all over before I knew it.

The only thing about the Academy that I didn't like all that much was having to say goodbye to the people that I loved when it was time to leave. I knew that I would be back though, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I knew that it was just one season that I would be away for, and then I would be home for the entire summer, or as the people in the Academy still called it, the Season of the Sun.
