**NOLAN'S POV**

Grandfather was way too impatient and excited when we got out of the memories. He grabbed my arm and Addie's arm and practically dragged us out of the room. Briar had barely caught up to us and taken Addie's hand so that he wasn't locked in the storage room. I was glad that he knew that he needed to do that. I didn't relish the idea of stopping Grandfather and making him go back when he was so determined at the moment.

Grandfather didn't stop marching the three of us along until we got to the Royal Wing. And when Simon saw us at the door, he was a little perplexed. He knew that we didn't have a meeting planned for the afternoon, so he couldn't fathom why the four of us showed up unannounced. Still, we were all four royal wolves, and higher in Addie's case, so he couldn't exactly deny us. He just gestured us in and asked us to wait in the parlor.
