บท 134: Into The Castle

The knight was scary. That was for sure. However, he was not going to hurt me. Even when he grabbed me by the arm and took me out of the drawing room, I noticed that he was being gentle with me, unlike with Uncle Dominic. He practically threw Uncle Dominic into the carriage, but he had gently helped me up into the horse-drawn vehicle.

All of that seemed odd to me at first. However, when I asked about it, I found out that he was in fact a gentleman. He wouldn't hurt a lady unless she was tried and convicted of being a criminal. And since I was technically not a criminal, he should never have to hurt me.

Well, I could hope at least. I didn't know if he would treat me like that if the king made me his little magic slave. If I was to become a slave, then I would cease to be a living being to most people. I would become a nasty thing that could only serve its purpose. Oh God, I really hope that I don't end up like that.
