A charismatic leader. This was how his packmates and allies described him. A doting father and mate. This was how his relatives described the leader of Bloodhood. A heartless warrior is how his enemies described him. A leader without authority. This was how he was described by the leaders of the packs who did not like his leniency towards omegas and the weak ones.
Each of those opinions highlighted a facet of the werewolf who was simply a werewolf guided by three things: the love of his mate and his son, the respect of his packmates, and the desire to live long with his loved ones. This meant that laying a finger or threatening any of those three aspects from near or far was unforgivable. What Fala had done in trying to provoke Silver Bloodhood to spice up his hunting party was signing his death warrant.
