บท 217: 216. Future

Glen walked unceremoniously into Connor's room. The latter had taken a shower and was lying, a hot-water-bag on his back as he was cursing against his pillow because of his painful body. The alpha, who heard the sound of the shower, strode to the door and banged it several times before calling out to Greg through the door.

"I need you! Get out of there!"

Glen stepped back without waiting for an answer and Connor, who had rolled onto his back to look at him, saw the alpha walking to the bed with a white face he had never seen, even in the middle of a battlefield.

The Dominant plopped down on the bed next to Connor, who raised an eyebrow when he saw him moping around, his lameness on display. Glen grabbed a pillow and placed it over his head to hide and the light brown-haired man rolled his eyes at the overly dramatic sight.

"I kinda think I'm going to regret my question but I'm asking anyway… what's up with you?"
