His heart jumped out of his chest at the thought of something happening to his grandparents. After all, they are old. At that age, it was normal for them to be sick.
But that doesn't mean he wouldn't feel heartache.
Adrian's thoughts ran wild. He became nervous when he noticed Alex staring at him as if she was hesitating. He again asked, " Mom, did something really happen to grandpa and grandma?"
Adrian's sudden outburst and question dumbfounded her.
Only, then does she notice that Adrian has misunderstood her silence and hesitance to answer.
" Everyone is fine. Everyone is healthy as a running horse," waving her hand in dismissal Alex answered.
