Their eyes swept over her manicured nails, and they couldn't help but scoff at her outfit - she came there riding a bike, for the Moon Goddess!

Also, they couldn't help but recognise her.

«Come in, dear,» said the woman. «It's late, and you should be tired.»

«Mama, where is brother?» Amanda asked, butting in. He wasn't in the house, so... In his lodgings in the second circle?
