บท 269: The Miracle child

"Do you not know, your daughter had introduced me to this brand. Has Hazel never offered you one glass of it?"  asked the man with mirth in his eyes.

  Diana was sure that he already knew the answer, yet he asked her to humiliate her. She wanted to avoid him and look away while enjoying her drink.

Her whole life was in danger yet he was asking her to be worried about a cup of wine! Ha! She had better things to think about.

But as she continued to drink her wine, his question started to swirl in her mind as if her mind would burst if she would not reply to him,

"That wench is not my daughter! She is daughter of that dumb witch who thought no one would know others if she would not tell them." his eyes turned intense as the beast in him clawed to come on the surface.
