"But.. sigh! I think you are right. She is not going to come and attend the party. 

But I thought that she would come and apologise to everyone to atone for her sins! I think, i should give up now!'' She took a deep breath and looked hurt but before anyone could sympathise with her or say anything, the sound of high heels took their attention.

But instead of the sound coming from the door or entrance, the sound of high heels came from the stairs. Many of them turned to look at the new entry when their eyes widened and they looked stunned.

Most of them who were looking at the girl for the first time were mesmerised and those who had seen the blonde hair girl, who used to look dirty and unkempt, were shocked to see such a drastic change on her face. 

They could not believe that it was the same hazel who used to walk with her hair all over the place and dirt on her face.
