"Well Noah, to put it simply, the insurgency is the only reason why I am out of containment right now, did you know where I was contained?"
Noah shook his head sideways.
"No,I asked some insiders to check but they weren't really able to return any information, after learning who got you contained to start with it was quite logical nothing could be found."
"Ever heard of site Phobos, Noah?"
Once again, Noah shook his head.
"Nope, never heard of it."
Leo was a bit surprised upon hearing Noah say that, but it was understandable.
Hundreds of facilities were hidden worldwide, ranging from small complexes and offices all the way up to massive armed underground compounds, and more.
"To keep it simple, Noah, site Phobos was the facility I was contained at, the insurgency held a large-scale attack on the facility, causing a power outage in the containment zone I was in, allowing me to escape. From there on I detonated the on-site warhead and escaped the facility. From there on I met up with the insurgency, and more specifically Valentina. She was quite satisfied with my performance at site Phobos and asked me to be her right-hand man, I didn't really have a lot of choices, so I agreed."
"Despite your previous affiliations with MC&D?"
"Oh, that only encouraged it, Valentina despises them, well, more specifically Iris."
Noah sighed.
"I can see why that is."
Noah and Leo continued talking about various affairs of importance for another thirty minutes, after that the majority of details were known to both parties.
"Noah, I do hope that if you manage to get any information that is of relevance that you contact me."
Noah nodded.
"I will, but it will of course come at a price."
"That works for me, you can contact me anytime if there is something of importance or if you got a little job for me."
Noah stood up and shook Leo's hand.
"I will, although it is already great seeing you in good health after you were captured."
Leo opened the door for Alyona and Noah, allowing them to leave.
They walked back over to the exit, but before they left Noah had a final message for Leo.
"Oh right, Leo. Next time please don't play so rough with my guards, would you?"
"Can't promise anything, Noah." said Leo before returning to Valentina's side.
"Did you manage to get everything handled that you wished to handle?"
Leo nodded.
"I assume we're done here, right Valentina?"
Valentina nodded.
"The shipment has no issues, payment has been confirmed, gave Noah a little scare to make sure he behaves and doesn't step out of line too far, and you had your little chat, that should be all. Let's go."
Leo and Valentina exited the warehouse and got back in the car.
"Valentina I do have to know, who exactly gives you commands? Since I doubt you would do something like this just because you feel like it."
"There is one person that is above me, but I ain't gonna say all too much about him, too risky. Most of these small jobs come from other insurgent members, or they are directly relevant to my future plans or the well-being of the insurgency, I took this little job from a different insurgent member since I saw some value in it for you, this way you could see Noah again, and I could assure that the shipments are alright."
"Well, it's good to know that you also think about me somewhat, it's appreciated, Valentina."
"Don't mention it, besides, I've got some bigger stuff planned that is coming up where I will definitely need you."
A suspicious look rose on Leo's face.
"Such as?"
Valentina sighed.
"Another facility raid for the insurgency, I was requested to oversee it again since the last one was successful aswell, I agreed since there is something I want aswe-"
"No, I won't do it. Too much of a risk considering I only escaped containment recently. What do you think the foundation will do once they realise I am present, not to mention affiliated with the insurgency? They sure as hell won't go easy on any of us once reinforcements come."
