"Hey listen up", called a guard.

"What?", I asked him disinterested.

"You are to be presented in the court", he said to me.

"I have always been to court what is different today?", I asked him sarcastically.

"Today is your trial. We will decide whether to hang you or let you rot in the prison for the rest of your life", he told me.

"Any of that option sounds better than to watch your face", I told him. His nose flared at my disrespect.

"You better try to lose your attitude. If not I will make sure that I do things that will make you cry like a child", he said. Somewhere I heard a warning from Mildred that never provoke anyone.

"I have never cried like a small child. You sounds as though you are very experienced in it", I told him with a sarcastic smile.
