Just as the voice finished speaking, an explosion appeared out of nowhere at the exact coordinates it had mentioned!
The smoke from the explosion filled the battlefield, but instead of being tossed around, Fang Yuan stood unscathed, with a sly smirk on his face.
"Impossible!" a feminine voice shouted in surprise, "There's no way you could have predicted or defended against that attack!"
The voice belonged to Great Dream Immortal Venerable, but it seemed to come from everywhere.
Fang Yuan said nothing in reply, but his smirk grew more confident.
"Even for Venerables with godlike intelligence, strength and power, we are still human in the end. Our reaction times are still tied to the realm of mortals. At most, we are incredibly perceptive, but we are still human. Without the use of auxiliary and support Gu, we would have some of the worst reaction times in the Gu World," Fang Yuan explained.
This was the difference between Humans and Variant Humans and Desolate Beasts - a vast physical disparity. Whether in natural strength, reaction speed, knowledge or wisdom, early Humans pale in comparison to Variant Humans and Desolate Beasts.
Even today, with Humans as the dominant species, Desolate Beasts and Variant Humans can still overpower the average Gu Immortal if they have similar equipment. The flow and rules of Time did not allow for the Future to come in contact with its Past.
Great Dream was not supposed to be here, but she was somehow being shielded from the Dao of Time, probably with the help of Red Lotus Demon Venerable.
What this Killer Move did was expose the Future Time Path Dao Marks that were engraved into every fiber of her being.
Time Path Dao Marks couldn't be tricked, from the moment of inception, every little thing had been engraved with Time Path Dao Marks, more could be added or taken away but they would inevitably know what the Present Time should be.
Should Future Dao Marks come into contact with Past Dao Marks, the Time Dao would be alerted and would begin correcting the wrong.
Which meant the complete annihilation of the Future Dao Marks.
Although this Killer Move was only Rank 7 in power, due to its hastily constructed nature, it was like an infection, rapidly spreading in Great Dream, slowly eliminating all traces of her. Should Fang Yuan have enough time to enhance the move to rank 8 or even rank 9!

It came up with a plan of attack, location and time to attack and it made corrections along the way, after all there is no perfect plan.
There was a downside to this move, to work against another Venerable Fang Yuan needed to contribute his own brain power as well.
This meant he had no spare thoughts left to use should any unpredictable factors were to ambush him.
Though to counter this Fang Yuan spent the past few days ensuring that there were no other tricks Great Dream could pull, calculating every possibility.
Coupled with the extremely high amounts of Immortal Essence that needed to be consumed to sustain the AI…even someone like Fang Yuan felt the pinch when using this move.

Fang Yuan wiped his face and with a wave he freed Meng Qiu Zhen, before Meng Qiu Zhen could figure out the state of the battle he was stored into the Sovereign Immortal Aperture.
Afterwards, Fang Yuan headed to the center of the Dream Prison,
There, on a pedestal, a single Gu sat.
Fang Yuan grasped it and began to refine it.
