บท 8: Wet Nurse

"It's late at night, and the sleepy bugs are crawling into their room..." 

Qin Yang leaned outside the door, listening to Qiao Nian telling stories to the two children. Unexpectedly, he had finally agreed to let Qin Geng sleep with Qiao Mo. Qin Geng had given him puppy dog eyes and he could not resist. 

"Mr. Qin!" A timid voice sounded at the door. Qin Yang looked up. It was Qin Geng's wet nurse. 

When Qin Geng was born, the family hired three wet nurses for him. After he was weaned, the three wet nurses stayed behind as nannies. He could never remember their names. 

"Mr. Qin, I'm Wang Lian." Maybe because she noticed Qin Yang's confusion, the wet nurse took the initiative to re-introduce herself. 

"Oh, Ms. Wang, I'll go inside later. Dr. Qiao is putting the two children to sleep." 

"Dr. Qiao is doing what?" Wang Lian asked in surprise. But she immediately hid her emotions. "Okay, then I'll wait for Geng to fall asleep before I go in."
