Ultron growled, and with a few of his bots, started attacking my illusions. I knew it would be a matter of time before he figured out who was the real me, so I had to experiment, trying things I had never tried before.
Illusions were just the first step.
Now, I had to push it a bit further.
"You won't be able to keep this facade for long," Ultron said, blasting a few of my illusions out of commission.
"Well, I don't need much time," One of my fakes replied.
As I formulated a plan, almost immediately coming up with something.
Transmutation.
I wasn't a master of that particular magic school, but I knew how to transmute basic things into other basic things, all I had to do was turn that into a creative outcome for me.
So, with that in mind, I started transmutating.
Needless to say, I had to be careful.
If Ultron noticed I was changing things around our battlefield, my plan would not work.
And my plan required his ignorance.
So, instead of transmuting the debris into bombs, or other explosive weapons like I wanted right out of the bat, I added, an extra step, transmuting not only the rocks and debris into weapons, but the weapons themselves to look like rocks and debris.
Of course, this took some extra time.
But by how Ultron was acting, dealing with my illusions, things were going rather well.
He was completely oblivious to the fact the very ground beneath him was becoming a weapon to face him.
"This is getting boring," Ultron shouted.
"Well, I'm having fun," One of my fakes replied, laughing at the killer robot.
Everything was going according to plan, it was funny really, Ultron was making me plan and act out of my comfort zone, and it was going wonderful. I almost felt the need to thank him, if it wasn't for the fact he was an enemy, and not real, I would.
Two minutes later, and with only a few illusions left, the battlefield was complete.
Everything in a two-mile radius had been transmuted into bombs, of various sizes, and I had the trigger to set them off.
Now, all I needed was to ground the flying robot for a second or two, which would be enough to ensure he took the explosion in its entirety.
"Ten minutes you made me waste, ten minutes killing holograms," Ultron chuckled in anger, "Your death was meant to be a quick one, but what the hell, I will make an exemption for you, and make it last…"
"Ominous," I replied, blasting Ultron on the back with [Eldritch Whip]
"Found you," Ultron grinned, turning around to face me.
Obviously, I faked shock at his statement, but this was simply part of the plan. I wanted him to find me, the real me so that I could trap him.
"Well, it was bound to happen," I sighed, getting into a defensive position.
Without saying another word, Ultron rushed towards me, his thrusters at full speed, and for a moment I could see the literal hate seething down his eyes, then before he reached me, I jumped into the air, scarcely dodging his charge, and before he could fully adjust to counter my dodge, I summoned multiple [Eldritch Whips] momentarily sealing his movements.
"This won't stop me for more than a few seconds," Ultron scoffed, breaking whip by whip with surprising ease.
"Meh, I need one second," I replied, jumping into a portal nearby the Avengers, before setting off the explosion.
"Where wer—" Steve, who was the first one to notice me, asked or tried to, as the explosion I had created silenced him, and everyone around.
"You did that?" Tony asked, hovering around me.
"Yes," I nodded.
"What about the people?" Steve asked, sounding angry.
"There were none," I lied, there were probably some NPC's there, but I didn't care, "I can feel people around me, and where we were fighting was a dead zone, save for me,"
"You will pay for that," Ultron, or rather one of his bots said, glaring at me.
"When?" I asked, with a smile.
"When my Vision is ready," Ultron hissed through his bot, before disconnecting.
[Ultron Event Part 1 Completed]
[YOU HAVE LEVEL UP!]
[YOU HAVE LEVEL UP!]
[YOU HAVE LEVEL UP!]
Three levels, holy fuck, this dungeon keeps on giving.
"What did you do?" Nat asked, offering me a hand to stand up.
"I destroyed his current body, and talking about that," I turned to face Tony, "Ultron has a new body on the works, he calls it Vision, or his vision, the point is, if he gets his code or whatever into the body, we are fucked, as in we won't win this, the body is made out of the same material Cap's shield is made, meaning he would become virtually indestructible,"
"That… doesn't sound good," Tony sighed, "Any idea where this body is?"
I blinked, realizing I didn't know.
"No, but I can find out, if you guys buy me a few minutes," I replied, getting a nod from Captain America.
"We will cover you," Cap declared.
"There is no need," That voice… Wanda, oh shit, I had forgotten about them, I could've killed them during the explosion.
"We thought about what you said," Pietro sighed, "And Ultron is no the answer,"
"We know where his body is," Wanda added, "Is on the church, a mile from here,"
So this is the Vision Event I got a few minutes ago.
"Then let's go, we have a Skynet wannabe to stop," I nodded.
"I got that reference," Cap said, sounding quite proud.
"Skynet is nothing compared to Ultron," Tony scoffed.
At this, Hulk jumped in front of Tony and glared at him menacingly.
"Ok, ok, I will shut up," Tony replied, hands in the air.
"There's always one time for everything," Nat smirked.
"Guys, not to break the party or anything, but killer robot about to acquire an immortal body," Clint coughed.
"He has a point, let's go," I nodded, opening a portal to the Church, why run, when we can walk?
