What is this?! A chapter being published sooner than promised?! It must be an illusion!
Anyway... I know I only promised Saturday or Sunday, but... I was really in a good mood... The reason?
My TCC (Final paper) was approved with a maximum grade! (ノ ^_^) ノ
So I'm satisfied with my efforts, so here's the new chapter!
I'm already working on chapter 21!
Thanks for waiting!

Pov Thor.
Fenrir's behavior is what I thought it would be... So it's going to be difficult to establish some form of trust.
Hel had already commented that Fenrir tried to attack her... So does this mean that Fenrir didn't recognize her? Or... Does Fenrir no longer trust anyone?... Come to think of it, he is far more likely to trust no one but himself.
So we have the 'lone wolf', huh?
"GRRRRR"
The closer I got, the more Fenrir became agitated...
"Easy boy... It's not like I'm going to hurt you senseless..." I said calmly as I slowly approached Fenrir.
It looked like Fenrir had... Calmed down?
When I got close enough… I was wrong to assume that Fenrir had calmed down, as he soon shot his head with open jaws in my direction.
Pov Third-person.
As soon as Fenrir realized that Thor was within reach, he soon roared and shot his head quickly towards Thor, intending to kill him with a single bite.
And then when Fenrir closed his mouth, he realized…that he couldn't close it.
"You know... I knew I should have waited longer for you to act more reasonably, after all, you didn't even trust your sister... There was no need to pretend to be docile and try to kill me" said a voice in the mouth of Fenrir.
It was Thor, who was holding Fenrir's jaws by the fangs and preventing him from closing his mouth.
Fenrir then shook his head and flung Thor out of his mouth.
Thor then landed some distance from Fenrir, and then looked at his stubborn 'cousin'.
"Hum…I see you still have a grudge against other people…Understandable, after all, some people tend to be…disappointing," Thor explained.
Fenrir growled in response and flailed further, trying to free himself from Gleipnir.
Thor walked towards Fenrir and made a portal connected to his necklace's storage space, and took out...
A small package?
Fenrir stopped growling immediately looked at the suspicious package, which gave off a smell... Of food?
But Fenrir did not recognize the smell... It smelled good, but Fenrir had no idea what that smell was.
"Are we going to make a little deal boy?" Thor asked calmly. But honestly... He had no idea if Fenrir was understanding him, he could only assume that Fenrir's intelligence goes so far.
Fenrir looked at Thor, still suspicious but curious about the food in Thor's hand.
Thor then took a sort of yellow 'pill' from the necklace and then looked at it.
"I just hope it's enough…" said Thor thoughtfully.
What was the pill? Well... Thor knew it was unfeasible to forge a giant collar, as Fenrir would never let him get close.
So he established two steps.
1st – Create something to shrink Fenrir.
2nd – Shamelessly bribe the god-killing wolf with unbeatable human cuisine far beyond its present time.
"All right boy... Take it," Thor said, tossing the small package in the air towards Fenrir.
Fenrir, due to being immortal he couldn't starve... But that doesn't mean he would deny free food after years in chains!
Plus, whatever it was, it had a mouthwatering aroma!
Fenrir then opened his mouth waiting for the small package to fall into his mouth.
In Fenrir's desperation to get food, Thor took advantage of this and hurled the 'pill' towards Fenrir's mouth, which as soon as he swallowed... Thor whispered to his necklace a command word and the user.
"ᛉ(Algiz) Fenrir," said Thor.
For Fenrir... It seemed like the whole world was suddenly gigantic. Then Thor took the package he had used to distract Fenrir and knelt to take a closer look at Fenrir...
"You know... I chose the runeᛉ(Algiz) as a command, as I think it would be quite symbolic for your case... After all, thanks to my classes with my mother, I know this rune has a particular meaning... It means prosperity, self-love, benevolence, success, and everything that makes you feel light and strong to move on; but mostly, it symbolizes a great time to get away from everything that makes and lets you down, everything that saddens you. In a way, this rune will symbolize a new beginning for you…" said Thor smiling at Fenrir.
Fenrir snarled in response... But he didn't look so confident, for at this moment Thor was much bigger than he was.
"Hey, easy boy… This time there won't be any tricks… Here," Thor said, opening the package and offering Fenrir the food inside.
The food inside?... Nothing beats Italian food.
It was on this day that Fenrir met... Arancini!
Fenrir, while still alert, began to feed on the 'good-smelling' food and slowly... He no longer cared that Thor was nearby.
Thor then sat down next to Fenrir with care and watched as the 'final wolf' gorged himself on the offered food.
Pov Thor.
I sat next to Fenrir as he greedily devoured Arancini... Fenrir liking food was just a hunch of mine, as on account of being 'immortal' and living in isolation... It's probably been a while since he's fed on 'normal' food...
He was imprisoned here to be forgotten.
Just like the rest of his siblings...
Jörmundgander? When Odin noticed that the snake kept growing at an accelerated pace, he decided the 'best solution', for him, would solve the problems... The solution? Throwing Jörmundgander into the Sea of Midgard and hoping he's killed by something bigger... Sometimes I think Odin isn't that wise. According to Tyr, Jörmundgander was the size of a giant snake of 50 feet long at the time... Odin thought that if Jörmundgander was thrown into the ocean of Midgard, Jörmundgander would be killed in just a few weeks...
I shrunk Fenrir first, as I wanted Arancini to transform from a grain of rice to a stick with Fenrir.
And it worked just as I planned.
I stopped thinking when I noticed that Fenrir had stopped eating.
When I looked inside the package, I noticed that Arancini was gone.
"*Whine*"
I looked towards Fenrir... and saw him shift his gaze between me and Arancini's now-empty package.
I could only deny it.
"I... I don't have more food?" I tried to explain.
But Fenrir didn't seem to believe it, as he continued to mourn.
I just sighed but still gave a small smile.
"I'm telling you the truth... I didn't expect you to want more... So let's get you more food... But first, we should sort out the important things" I got up and opened my necklace's storage portal again and I took two things.
The first was a collar similar to the collars I used on the goats earlier, but this collar has a dual function.
It will be the replacement for the 'pill' that Fenrir devoured to shrink... After all, the 'pill' would dissolve a day later.
The second thing was a small vial containing Jörmundgander's poison.
When Fenrir saw the collar in my hand, he quickly growled in suspicion.
Well... I suppose I should have been a little more discreet...
"Whoa, calm down boy…" I said, trying to calm him down.
Unfortunately, I wasn't successful... So I had a maybe a little silly idea.
I 'worn' the collar on my wrist, which was the only place it fit due to its size.
"See? It's okay…" I said calmly.
Fenrir stopped growling, but... He still looked suspicious.
I removed the collar easily, thanks to having my necklace that was the key, and slowly walked over to Fenrir to put it on.
All this time Fenrir eyed me suspiciously, but he never growled, so I took that as a good sign.
And so, I put the collar on Fenrir.
As soon as I finished putting on the collar, I took out the small vial of Jörmundgander's poison and poured it into Gleipnir carefully, as I really didn't want to spill the corrosive poison into Fenrir by accident, so I just held it in place.
... It felt like I was disarming a bomb, as Fenrir kept staring at me...
After some time and a few drops of Jörmundgander's poison here and there... Fenrir was completely loose...
I backed away slowly, not wanting to frighten him... Besides establishing a safe distance for me, after all, he still *IS* the slayer of gods even though it now fits in the palm of my hand... I didn't want to allow Fenrir to rip my throat right after being released.
But it appears that my concerns were unfounded. Fenrir, after looking at the partially destroyed Gleipnir on the ground... He turned back to face me.
If the looks were still suspicious, I had no idea… But I refused to take a step closer, as that was the moment when Fenrir was calmer.
It was then that Fenrir… took the first step towards me.
He didn't run, he didn't jump for my throat, he just…walked.
Slowly but surely, the distance between us seemed to shrink as Fenrir approached.
And when he was just an arm's length away… He stopped.
It looked like he was looking at me with…expectation?
So I made a decision and held out my right hand.
Fenrir then jumped into my hand.
For a brief second, I thought he was going to try to bite me again. But then I saw that he never opened his mouth.
Fenrir now... It was comfortably to my right.
"Well…" I started to say.
Until I stop and think about my next words...
After a while... I knew exactly what to say.
"You're my friend now... We'll have Arancini when we get home" I said smiling.
It's going to take a while... But I really do see another future partner, in this little lone wolf.
It was then that I heard a grunting noise, and looked at Fenrir.
... That was his stomach... Well, maybe I should feed him as soon as possible.
It was then that I had an idea.
"Hey boy... How about joining a family dinner with your little sister?" I asked smiling at Fenrir.
Fenrir just stared at me…until he tilted his head.
He looked…confused.
"Well... It's easier to show than explain" I said in finality.
The place I wanted to take Fenrir? The place with a lot of food, and a younger sister who misses her older brother.
Hel's palace.
And then I walk towards my next destination, which was the palace of Hel... Again.
"...What was the name Ganglati referred to Hel's palace itself?... Hmm... Ah!... Éljúðnir, here we go!" I said, smiling towards Fenrir.
Maybe it's good for both Fenrir and Hel, this meeting of siblings... After all, as much as Hel said that Fenrir tried to attack her, maybe it was because Fenrir still had a grudge in his heart, in fact, he still must have... But with me watching, it will be a relatively safe reunion.
