For the person complaining about how it's becoming boring, setting up the main character is important. it will not be that much longer before the arc finishes.
----------
It seemed like a war was going to happen tonight.
and Eli was there to reap the fisherman's reward as his mother used to say.
his eyes swept around the forest before his eyes fell upon a single tree.
the tree was inhabited by a small Combee, not much bigger than Kakuna and it seemed like it was making some honey.
Combee collect Pollen from the flowers and make them into pollen, which made them be called nature grace on multiple accounts due there power to save a nearly dead flower and turn it into a healthy plant, making them be called "Natures grace."
Quickly corrupting the Combee and feeding it with the red mist, the boy had examined the growth of the red mist on his pokemon.
although Bronzor was restricted by height, it seemed like it had gained more weight which was a good thing because of its powerful defences. Although Kakuna spent most of the time sleeping, it had grown exponentially and bigger than a normal kakuna, standing at a 3"1 even though the normal height for a kakuna was 2", which shows its power and height.
when it fully evolves into a beedril, its power will probably be better than a normal one by a far side, and it seemed like the red mist had affected its limits.
but the red mist wasn't to be fully trusted. it may cause some problems down the line.
what happens if it shortens the pokemon lifespan? makes them erratic and bloodthirsty?
Pokemon levels are a representation of a pokemon strength, not the pokemon time of evolution. yes, the level for evolution such as Kakuna is level 10 is based upon countless studies of the same pokemon, exceptions arise.
for example, the lance of the elite 4 in Kanto has Dragonites at level 51 due to intense training and materials they had poured into them.
without proper materials, Eli's pokemon can live up to their full potential. however, when he finally gets his hands upon the galactic store, that would be a different matter.
after corrupting combee, the boy quickly stored all of the honey, taking a small portion of the honeycomb and eating it, alongside his pokemon.
Kakuna seemed to like the honey the most, clicking in enjoyment before going for a nap.
"Lazy bastard. I'll make sure to make you scream in pain for my training when your turn into a beedril."
although Kakuna was sleeping, the boy could see it shiver slightly in its sleep.
Combee was practically useless, so the boy threw a Pokeball at it and moved on with his day.
the boy decided to do some last-minute training with Kakuna and Bronzor.
tonight, he really wants to push them to the edge.
it was a shame he didn't have any breeding techniques through.
breeding techniques were made by professors and elites describing what is the best course of action for training a pokemon.
right now, Eli didn't have a single clue what he should do for training , but he continued to hone Bronzor's psychic prowess and Kakuna's defences.
the sun was starting to set after an intensive session of training and the boy smiled.
tree-hopping to the next tree, the boy found himself around 200 metres away from the camp, of which was eating dinner.
"Where has that idiot gone?!" Mizik screamed, eating a rattata.
"I don't know..." Veronica muttered, "I just hope he's safe..."
the boy waited for a few hours, before looking at the sky, of which had completely set.
the full moon reflected a chilly atmosphere onto the people below, which made them tighten in their sleep in an attempt to garner whatever warmness they can get to warm themselves of the chilly night.
on a high tree , the boy saw countless figures, only one of them having a torch in his hands that reflected the faces of the multiple people
"Houndour, ember."
The dog shot a flame out of its mouth, of which the tree it was shot out lit up in a resplendent fire.
the boy watched as the fire spread via the dry grass, of which rain hadn't touched the grass for multiple days now.
the smell of burning quickly woke up the people of the camp, of which Eli would call group 1, led by Mizik. Group 2 was lead by Yuno, the leader.
Group 2 moved around the camp of Group 1, seemingly doing a pincer attack so none of the camp members could escape.
Eli watched with interest as the group 1 members which consisted of 10 people was surrounded by 8 people.
but although outmatched in numbers, it seems like group 2 had the qualitative advantage with the groups consisting of higher-level pokemon than group 1.
Mizik had a stunky, which was the most powerful pokemon, probably around level 9.
Well, veronica was useless due to the fact her Zubat didn't respond to her anymore, and the rest of the group had pokemon ranging from level 5-6.
Mizik looked towards Yuuno.
"Coward! how dare you sneak attack us!" Mizik screamed to Yuno, who simply laughed "
"You don't remember me, no?" Yuno's eyes flashed with hatred.
Mizik looked towards Yuno with confusion before his face morphed with horror
"No- it's...you-"
"Yes, it's me," Yuno said with hatred with his eyes
"Listen, I'm s-sorry, I had to do what I had to d-do.."
"For your sister, right?" Yuno said to Mizik, who looked down in shame
"You're a coward," Yuno said to Mizik, who continued to look down at the floor.
his clanmates were being slaughtered left right and centre.
there were only 4 people left, and only one person on team 2 group had died.
the rest were defenceless, some begging for their lives, one committing suicide, but one thing was clear.
"Isaac." Yuno coldly muttered
"Yes." Isaac also nodded, putting his dagger to Veronica's throat
"Watch closely," Yuno said, nodding to Isaac
"No-No please don-" Veronica's cries were interrupted by the flick of the wrist of Isaac as warm blood poured of Veronica's throat, her surprise in her eyes dying down until she was nothing more than a puppet on the floor.
Mizik quickly ran to veronica, holding and pushing her body, wanting to see if she would spring up and hug him like she usually did.
his only hope had died.
