บท 52: Surrounded

"Sir, I am not lying. If you practice that skill, the curse will surely haunt you." When the lady saw that smirk on his face, she gathered her courage and spoke.

Hearing her words, he looked at her with a weird gaze and asked "Yesterday, you were trying to kill me. Why did you suddenly become so nice?"

Peter could see the concern in her eyes and that's why he said that.

For a moment, she froze. The lady didn't understand why she was concerned about Peter. And, why did she try to stop Peter from doing what he was doing?

Soon, she found two reasons behind it. First, she and Peter had no enmity. She only used her information power because she was consumed by momentary greed. And, now, her mind completely accepted that greed wasn't worth it.
