The next morning after their workout Greg fixed Cisco a breakfast of Irish oatmeal encased in baked apples with a maple syrup and brown sugar glaze. He also packed Cisco a lunch of spinach salad with bacon, dried cranberries, sesame seeds, sliced almonds and onions with a sweet vinaigrette dressing on the side paired with some homemade clam chowder and a quarter of a French baguette with butter. He sent more packets of the good coffee he ground that morning for Cisco to use in his office coffee pot so he wouldn’t have to drink the hospital swill.
