บท 77: Chapter 77

“I’m Aziz. Where to?”

When RJ gave him the address on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, Aziz acknowledged he knew how to get to that area of Midtown.

“No parking there. Have to drop you off at curb, cannot stay long.”

RJ nodded. “No problem.” He clutched his carry-on as Aziz took off on a dizzying ride, weaving through traffic in Queens and then merging into Manhattan-bound traffic via the FDR South.

Shit. Riding in a taxi is more dangerous than flying a plane.

RJ sat in the brown leather, 1950s, Copenhagen-style chair, and faced the windows overlooking the skyline. Retro-type, Scandinavian furniture, probably costing thousands sat here and there, partly art pieces. Arthur Fielding must have loved the set design of Mad Men because the furniture of the office was imbued with a mix of dark and light browns and seemed lifted from the AMC series.
