With any luck, she’d turn out to be old or married with a bunch of kids or anything else to relieve Grant’s jealousy about her being personally involved with Rafael. Near the end of the list, he found her—Janet Whitbeck. Job title: Intern. Experience: Hacker. They hired a hacker? Age: 16. Sixteen! Rafael’s accomplice was a child?

He sat dumbfounded for a long minute. All his plans for intimidating Janet crumbled. He wasn’t about to browbeat a sixteen-year-old girl into telling him what he needed to know. He’d have to tread lightly and make it up as he went along.
