บท 13: Chapter 13

“…like you.”

“Huh? What? Sorry, I wasn’t listening. I was lost in my own head for a minute there.”

Aurelius huffed and repeated the words.

“For some unfathomable reason, the scent of your blood is calling to me. It smells sweet and enticing. It lingers in my nostrils even when you are not around. It’s been driving me insane. I don’t like you only because of your blood though. I just…really like you.”

Unconsciously, he placed his palms on either side of his neck.

“Are you implying that you want to drink my blood?”

The vampire scoffed at him in exasperation.

“That is what you get from my declaration?”

“Well, excuse me for being afraid. You just said the scent of my blood calls to you.”

“Look, blood is the only thing that I can still smell and taste. I will always hunger for it, but yours smells truly incredible. I crave for it and I yearn for it, yes, but I won’t drink from anyone who is not willing to give it to me.”

“Really?”

“Yes!”
