Early on in their relationship,the easiest way Lori learned to curb any argument before it got out of hand was to be the one who made the decision.Jack and Brandt never argued with her—their animosity was reserved only for each other,which she couldn’t quite understand.She knew they loved each other,they did,even if they never said the words.

Even the way they fought spoke of emotions that ran deep.Would Jack get so angry at Brandt if he didn’t feel the way he did about his lover?Was Brandt’s constant needling not founded in the lingering hero worship of his youth?They came together during sex with such animalistic ferocity that she knew there had to be true love beneath the lust.Once she joined them between the sheets,she saw it,and felt it,too.

But God,sometimes she just wanted to shake them until they admitted it out loud!
