“Yeah, I’m coming!” Henry answered.
“You’re gonna have fun, Henry,” Ash assured him. “Just relax.”
“I dunno why I’m so nervous,” Henry mumbled as he pulled on his suit jacket. “I’m being ridiculous.”
“A little.” She brushed her hand over the back of the jacket once he had it on. “But it’s okay. Now go on. Your dateis waiting.”
Henry grunted as he headed for the bedroom door. “You are not helping.”
She went on chuckling when he left the room. Henry looked in a deep breath as he went to meet Luke in the hall. When he caught a glimpse of him, though, he nearly staggered to a halt.
Luke looked incredible. Completely dapper in that dark gray suit he wore. It was perfect for him. Fit around him like a glove and brought out the color of his eyes. The beard he’d grown in gave him this distinguished sort of look and Henry really wanted to feel it against his own skin, but he certainly was not going to think about that right now; he had places to be.
