บท 179: YOU LIED TO ME

Gerald was looking for an opportunity to meet Bertha. Every day he sneaked into the Garfield mansion and hid behind Zerith's quarter only to see how happy Bertha was with him.

He stayed there for hours, waiting in a hope that Bertha would miss him at least once. But she was so busy taking care of Zerith that he doubted she even thought about him.

That each day ended with pent-up frustration, anger and jealousy.

He didn't know what he should do. How he could meet Bertha? 

But he had to meet her and demand an explanation for her cold behaviour toward him, or he would go insane.

One such opportunity came when Oscar told him that he and Isabella were going on a mission on the nearby island. They would be gone for two days, and Gerald knew it was his best chance to meet Bertha.

And the only way of sending her a message was Filch.
