"Is helping others a bad thing?" Aria, the little mermaid, asked innocently.

Theodora smiled. "I am not saying that, Aria. I am just curious to know."

Aria giggled. "I think you are pretty and he is handsome. I have never been friends with humans and thought if I help you then you might like to be my friend?" She batted her lashes innocently.

"Thank you, Aria! Of course, we would like to be your friends!"

"What are you saying?" Gerald hissed in Theodora's ear. 

"Shhh.. I know what I am doing." She said.

Happy to know that, Aria somersaulted again thrice, giggling in glee.

"Come then." She swam toward the pink shells.

On Theodora's nudging, Gerald followed grumpily. Aria looked at the shells before she asked, "Gerald do you know in which of the shells the pearl is?"

Gerald shook his head before he pulled out a small blade from his shoes.

"I guess I will just check one by one."
