บท 75: THERE IS NO REMEDY

Gerald was lost in his thoughts for the past three days, not knowing how he could get the medium of Sylvia's bond with her family. He had no information on the valley of flowers, the land to the far East in the cradle of the snow lad peaks of mighty mountains, the Himalayas, they said.

Gerald had heard that was extremely difficult terrain with the danger of wild animals. A boy living on the island, soaking the heat of the Sun from his birth, couldn't imagine the range of mountains covered with tonnes of snow or maybe more than that.

When Sylvia described the place, he tried to imagine it, and create an image that would give him a fair idea of the actual place, but that image felt incomplete, and unfair to that magnificent place.

Gerald needed to know more about it, and thus, he was at the shrine to meet Thomas. He was the only person who came to his mind who could help him.
