บท 139: Telling Him What Happened

(From Ella's Perspective)

"So, you mean, he took care of you properly and did not mistreat you at all?" he asked. 

"Yeah, that's right," I nodded. "He brought me food from time to time, assisted me on the way to the restroom, and also massaged my feet once after I whined."

"What? Really?"

"Yeah... Well, in one word, I was treated with care. Though he is an annoying ferret, I have to admit that he tried his best. But then, yesterday, he did not come for a long time. He had brought my food before, so it was not a problem. I thought he was busy or something. Because most of the time, he hung out in my room, arguing with me. We did not get along at all, you see. Anyway, so, after I freshened up that day, I heard a noise. I thought he came. So, I went to pick up a fight with him, but it turned out it was... his father."
