The monstrosities closed in, their malicious intent bringing down immense pressure heavier than the armor they were wearing. With a roar that seemed to shake the whole scenery, they charged. The battle-worn warrior looked at Aldrin and said, "Young man, if we can survive this until the reinforcements arrive, we will be known as heroes of the Great Kingdom of Brishanda."

Aldrin nodded, his bitter smile hidden by the helmet. He knew the warrior's aspiration was never going to happen but at the same time, he was in awe. Because even in this unfair situation, his eyes never faltered.

"Let's go, then," he said and the clones echoed his voice in unison.

The monstrosities were upon them, a tide of teeth and claws that seemed unstoppable. However, the battle-worn warrior and Aldrin stood firm, their weapons a blur as they defended the space around them.
