The two warriors within the stadium of Fatum stood against each other. They were shrouded in silence as they held their swords tightly under their pale fingers. The spoken contestants were none other than the master, Alastair Hecate, and the maid, Soteria. After the long training, it had finally started.

The duel of wishes had begun.

"Soteria, in three seconds, we'll start," Alastair uttered with a smirk plastered on her face. Soteria nodded as a reply. She didn't utter a single word and waited for three seconds to pass. During the duration, it felt long for the two. They could feel each of their heartbeats as excitement rushed through their veins.

Then, the three-second mark passed.
