บท 17: 16. The Journey, first world.

The next morning Namine woke up early she was confused at first, 'Why am i outside?' she thought as she carefully looked around.

Then she saw Leo quietly sleeping away next to her, slowly she realized what was going on.

'Oh, Yeah! My very own journey out in the wilderness.. Kinda..' She smiled slightly as she got up and stretched her body.

She quietly approached Leo and nudged him slightly to wake him up, "Leo.. It's morning.. Time to get up.." She whispered.

*Groan* "Five more minutes Aqua..." He mumbled as he turned away.

Namine laughed slightly at this, then she had a brilliant idea.

She grinned and grabbed her camera to take a picture of him, 'Your own fault! Lazy Leo..' She thought as she quickly snapped a picture of him.

She put the picture away as she started laughing.

Leo suddenly woke up and rubbed his eyes, "W-what's going on?" He quickly asked.

"It's morning sleepy head! Time to get up.." Namine replied happily.

Leo nodded, *Yawn* "Five more minutes.." He said as laid-back down comfortably.

Namine's face was slightly twitching as she saw him go back to sleep again, she grabbed the struggle baton and started smacking him with it.

*Ouch* "AH! NAMINE!" *Ouch "*ALRIGHT! I'M UP!" *Ouch* "HAVE MERCY!" *Ouch* "AHHH!"

Leo was comically trying to escape from Namine for a few minutes till she finally let him off.

*Whew* "That was a good morning workout.." Namine said while she took a breather.

Leo started putting away the camping equipment while grumbling about violent girls who won't be able to get a boyfriend, which prompted a small glare from Namine, which in turn made him shut up quickly.

After they were done packing, Namine suddenly asked.

"Soooo Leo.. Where will we be heading first?" She wondered, as he didn't mention their first stop on their journey.

Leo started thinking carefully, "Hmm, i do have a bunch of worlds in mind, which i would all like to visit eventually.. We'll go slowly though, no need to make any rash decisions.." He replied while he considered their options.

Namine nodded thinking that he was right, luckily most of the Heartless, Nobodies, etc. had disappeared lately, but you can't be to careful.

They then both boarded the Gummiship and carefully took off into space once more, Namine looked quietly at Leo, who was currently deep in thoughts..

"Alright, i think that the best world currently for us would be the Kingdom of Corona, it's big so plenty of resources for us to use, and also enough space to train and explore together!" He said feeling quite excited.

Namine just agreed, "I've never seen it, so i'll let you decide the destination.. But, having enough space would be nice!" She agreed happily.

"Trust me! I'm sure you'll love it!" He guaranteed her with a grin, which made her smile back.

Leo then gave her some directions, as they slowly started blasting through space once more.

It took them a while to find the world Leo was looking for but they eventually found it, whilst they had also gathered an amazing amount of munny and materials again as well.

Kingdom of Corona

================

Leo observed and quickly directed Namine toward a peaceful parking space.

He decided to land them near the Tower where the long haired princess was held captive, once upon a time..

Leo thought it would serve as the perfect temporary base, as nobody should be using it currently, and it also wasn't that easily accessible.

Leo and Namine headed towards the decent hiding place for the Gummi Ship and both started preparing to disembark.

"Wow~! This place looks so beautiful!" Namine exclaimed in surprise, she started too look around, seeing all the flowers and nature around them, it made her feel warm inside.

She glanced secretly at Leo, 'He's really thoughtful..' She thought to herself, feeling a little shy.

Leo nodded as he proudly crossed his arms and puffed his chest.

Leo grabbed her attention and pointed out into the distance, "Look Namine, over there that tower, it should be currently abandoned!" he called out to her, making her look over.

"It will be our temporary base! It doesn't have any normal entrances currently, but I'll be sure to make a decent rope ladder for you to use, it will be a nice way for you to train.." He explained.

Namine looked at it and eventually nodded in determination, "I understand! I'll do my best!" She said, feeling all fired up.

Leo smiled seeing her determined face, "I'll start by scouting the tower and the rest of the environment, in the meantime could you prepare some of our provisions and collect some water? Be sure not to drink it yet though.." Leo asked her.

"Right! Be careful yourself as well, Leo.." She saluted him with a smile.

Leo nodded, "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Three clones poofed into existence making Namine look at him in awe.

They all gave her thumbs up, and he and his clones disappeared in a twirl of leaves.

Namine sighed slightly, 'A ninja, right.. Anyways.. Let's get to work!' She smiled and quickly and grabbed the bag from the ship in order to start preparing.

Leo himself was already at the tower, while he secretly left a hidden clone to guard Namine just in case.. He forget to do it in Twilight Town, but Axel, Roxas and Xion regularly move throughout those areas, so Leo was sure the risk there was minimal, but that could not be the case in this kingdom..

His clones were currently moving around the area looking for materials in order to make some decent rope, whilst also looking for some ingredients extra they both could use for later.

Leo slowly walked up the side of the tower and into the open window.

Looking inside he didn't sense, nor see anyone making him sigh in relief.

"Looks like nobody indeed hasn't been around this place for a while.." Leo mumbled as saw all the accumulated dust.

Leo smiled as he suddenly got a great idea, he quickly hopped inside and started using different elemental magic in order to clean and dust out the place, this would also help him with his magic control.

After around thirty minutes Leo suddenly got a minor headache as his clones poofed out.

'Looks like they gathered quite some materials and had dropped them off with Namine..' Namine was also done and just lounging around and relaxing in the sun.

'I should be mostly done here as well.. Let's head back!' Leo said taking a last glance around and flashing away.

"Hey Namine, I'm back!" He called out as he saw her sitting on a rock drawing.

He sat down next to her with tired sigh, Namine glanced over and started giggling as she quickly took out her camera and took a picture of him again.

Leo looked at her slightly confused, "What's so funny?" He wondered.

While laughing she showed him the picture, which showed him looking all dusty and dirty.

"Eh?" Leo looked himself over quickly, "Ah! Snap, i didn't realize i was this dirty after cleaning the tower.." He said embarrassed.

Namine smiled, "No worries Leo! Thanks for the hard work.. And for the quick laugh!" She started slightly laughing again, which prompted Leo to join in on the laughter himself.
