Erwin's failure to manage the company had infuriated Albert!

He led Christopher and Jackson to find Erwin once again.

Looking at Erwin, who was so drunk that he was worse than a beggar, Albert snorted coldly and said, "Look at you! Look at what you've become!"

Erwin did not even spare Albert a second glance.

He merely held the bottle of wine in his hands in a dispirited manner and gulped down mouthfuls of bitter wine.

With the demeanor of an elder, Albert asked, "Have you given any thoughts about leaving your brother and me to manage the company in Hillford?"

Christopher replied, "That's right. You're not in the mood to manage the company right now. Why don't you leave everything in Hillford to Jackson and me to help you manage it for the time being?"

Jackson nodded.

He looked down on Erwin, the illegitimate son of Albert, and said, "You can live or die if you want to, but you can't ruin the Smith family's business."
