บท 5: Chapter 5

A Week and a Half Later.
Sitting within my office, I was going over a report on the research on the local Fauna and Flora.
For a while now I have had my synths start capturing the local wildlife to research, breed, and tame them.
Right now I was going over the more dangerous wildlife found on this planet.

Notes: Dragons have been found to stay away from our compounds and bases but attack when provoked or approaching their territory, it has been noticed that they are especially aggressive when they have eggs. It has been noticed that a few dragons have had an organ that allowed them to exhale fire.

Type: Annelid
Variants: Desert, Mountain, and Forest
Classification: Apex Predator
Diet: Omnivore, but it has been noticed that they favor meat
Life expectancy: 500 Years
Notes: Very aggressive worm-like omnivores that can devour people whole with some having the size to be capable of consuming multiple people at once and even a car if it wished. Have also been seen having the capabilities of eating through Concrete and breaking through metal to get to scientists.

Another dangerous animal that has caused us quite a bit of difficulty in setting up several different types of bases since they had a tendency to attack our workers.
Closing the report and putting it in my desk drawer for later, I picked up yet another report.
But I found that this report was of much larger importance.
It was a report on where our planet was located in the Milkyway galaxy!
Although it took a while( a few days) to build a couple of satellite telescopes and send them to space, once they were there they began collecting lots of technical data and pictures that dozens of scientists began analyzing in order to find our location in this wide galaxy.
And after multiple days of constantly analyzing and researching the data collected by more than a dozen different satellites, we have finally found our location in the Milkyway Galaxy!
How did we find our location, you may ask?
First, we searched for the center of this galaxy, and then from there we started looking over our surroundings and there were two star clusters that our powerful telescopes recognized.
Our system sat in a cluster of stars between the Nubian Expanse and the Shadow Sea and we were very close to the Attican Beta system but still far enough that it would take a long time to reach our systems at normal speeds.
Meaning we were in the eastern part of this galaxy within the Attican Traverse.
I still have to make sure that no Mass Relay is anywhere near our system but at least it's an isolated location where I won't have to deal with others interfering with the mass construction that's going to take place in these couple of solar systems around us.
That's right, now that I knew where we were I started ramping up my production of well...everything.
More than 1,000 Synths could be made per day with our current amount of synth replicators and those synths could be used to build more synth replicators which increase the production of synths multiple folds!
Once we get enough synths I start building expedition ships that will explore and scan our solar system and the 12 others that made up our small cluster.
From there I would then start building up mining stations in this solar system's asteroid belt and start constructing orbital shipyards and starbases.
Either way, my plans will take years to be completed, which also means I will have more than enough time to fool around in this universe!
But I will probably work for another year before I set off, I need to make sure that the Synths will be able to sustain themselves and that everything would be set in motion, not needing my influence to complete them.
Plus I wanted to first manufacture all of the supplies needed as well as craft weapons and armor for the ship's armory and manufacture a bacta tank and stockpile Stim-packs as well as other medical supplies.
All in all, I had a lot to do and a year should be more than enough time to complete everything.
Another thing I just realized that I would have to do is make adjustments to the armor that I know of so that it can fit all of the species that will be crewing the ship, including myself, which shouldn't be too hard.
